Pretty sure we will be there! Really though I think I want a meet at 4:30am. Still might be awake still by noon!!! We can always do a drive by on our way out!!?!

Just read the thread, but hope to join you ( I may be working) but will pop in during the afternoon. I think I will be the one with the least travelling to do:thumbsup:

I am also hopeful that gryphea and family (pah, to jet-lag :p) can also join us, plus there are about 3 or 4 more I hope to hear from one way or the other soon.

I'm happy to provide the home, a cooker, a fridge, the ambience, the space to kick off your shoes and relax - and a large table, and I would invite you all to bring something to put on it ;) :thumbsup:.

Can I suggest that people volunteer to bring either a home made 'buffet-style-easy-to-pick-at' something - or bring something like 3 tubes of pringles, or 4 fruit juices, or 2 large coke and 2 large Sprite, or crudites and dips, etc, etc ?? How does that sound ? I'm willing to hear suggestions, or give direction ...

I guess we're looking at approx 18-22 adults and approx 10-12 kids. My basement will be primed for the children and the padlock sharpened and ready :rofl:

Arghhhhh. I can't make it Anne. Hubby is on his second to last night shift and can't wrangle a swap. Gutted but I will hopefully make it to your next one.

Sounds like it'll be a fab do and it's certainly more popular than our meet-up at Newlands Corner this weekend. Well done you, Ann, for offering your home to BE addicts for the afternoon. I hope you take lots of photos and post them here for us wannabes! :p

OK FOLKS - THIS IS THE LAST CALL FOR THE CALGARY MEET-UP ! :D

I'm pleased to announce that, as well as the fine selection of guests as mentioned a few entries up the page, that Tanya (from Steve&Tanya) can also join us, and Ranjeet2217 and his wife. I haven't heard to the contrary, but I hope in one way that Top Cat hasn't delivered early - it was her idea afterall :p

For info, cake is being brought by someone, a fruit platter (to nullify the cake calories, of course) by another guest, and crisps/chips and dips by another.

I will make some chicken tikka bites and some other savoury, salmony salady not-sure-yet-I haven't-decided dishes, and something child-friendly.

As mentioned before, it's not too late to tag on the end of this one if you are free on Saturday afternoon (this Sat - the 1st Dec).
