Default Buying stuff in the UK with NA Credit Card

This morning I tried to buy stuff from Toys R Us in the UK but I don't think they take NA credit cards. I've done it with Amazon UK before but the item is 17 pounds more expensive there for some reason. Anyone know a way around this or other online shops in the UK that'll take my foreign cc?

Visa and Master Card are supposed to be accepted worldwide though sometimes the card has not been activated to use outside your home country. Looking at their website about delivery it says this

Do you deliver outside of the UK?
Orders can be placed for home delivery to the UK Mainland, Northern and Southern Ireland addresses.

At this time, we do not have the ability to have orders placed on Toysrus.co.uk delivered to other international addresses. However, the following websites are able to deliver to more countries:

Thank you. But it would only take a UK address for billing.

I've used it at M&S before. It was just Toys R Us because I was trying to buy a Playmobil farm and for the price Amazon charges I could get an extra pig and an extra cow at TRU.

Extra livestock can be a draw. What about Sainsbury's or Tesco, they sell toys and might have extra critters.

Or the Playmobik site?

Not sure if this is the farm in question, but has a pig and cow. Lots of pony farms. Pixmania takes Canadian cards.

It had more horses in it. Anyway I got it at Amazon because of the gift wrapping and I just stumped up for the extra sheep, pigs, cows and chickens. HID wouldn't let me send penguins as well.

Perhaps Oink just made her suffer through that god-awful movie "The March of the Penguins".

I think it must have been nearly a decade ago* that my HID made me watch that.

I'll get over it one day.

*Mr. Google tells me it was 2005.
