Can't say I agree about the accent
I'm so happy that noone in Canada recognizes it
But I have held this opinion for years that Birmingham is a far superior city !

Hate the accent ( and the connotations that go with it) and I'm allowed to say that!

Cmon now Birmingham better than London?..from my experience of both cities London is streets ahead of Birmingham...i would put Liverpool and Glasgow ahead of Brummieland

Which is what I said. Still there are plenty of people with the black country accent who live in Birmingham.
