Re: Brrrrrrr ......
f*****g weather my bloody car won't start - and do you think I can dig around under the bonnet and find where the block heater cord is??? NO of course I can't.
So attempt to plug the battery charger in - come in the house - go back outside and the f*****g dog has chewed the extension cord in half. So no cord and no starty car. :frown: :frown: Beat that in your Welsh t shirt. <walks off mumbling something about why does this have to happen the morning oh goes away:frown:> |

Yeah, right. If you're out in a T-shirt in -35c your nipples will fall off to say nothing of the shrinkage in your junk.

Re: Brrrrrrr ......
hey it's much warmer now ... only -12! (Did I just say that?)
I had to discard a layer on my way home when I stopped at the mall. Last night I nearly ran out of gas as it was around -30, plus (or -) whatever the wind chill was, and I couldn't face standing around in the cold filling my car. This morning it was quite bearable at about -23!  |
Re: Brrrrrrr ......
We had a fire alarm at work today so all stood outside in the sunshine at -12 commenting on how warm it felt

Re: Brrrrrrr ......
Fortunately the memories of -30C or colder are long gone from my memory, but all I can say is the the -15C according to the Calgary weather report as I left the hotel on 5th Avenue this morning felt a damn site more pleasant than the damp -1C in Swindon on Saturday.
