Just watched the England-Brazil game on ITV and expect to watch Doctor Who tomorrow.
What am I doing wrong? Yesterday it required me to close the program and reconnect every five minutes, which made for rather disjointed viewing. Today, I've tried looking at BBC1, BBC2 and ITV1, but all just come up with a "scrambled" message.

Sorry...don't think I can help. Some time ago there were a couple of channels not working with something displayed about negotiations but since then even Eurosport has started working

I do remember that since I registered (but still not subscribing) there was one occasion when clicking 'skip' it behaved differently to signing on, but I always click skip and get connected.

Just remembered something....when the thread about this first appeared some people reported a problem that was solved by uninstalling and reinstalling...the modern equivalent of slapping the TV.

For those interested in watching some good current UK TV there is a new series showing on PBS. It's called Collision and started last night under the Masterpiece Theatre banner. There were two episodes last night and, in the east here, it's repeated on Saturday. Two more episodes next Sunday and the final one, I presume, the following Sunday. It showed on 5 consecutive nights last week in UK. I watched it last night and it was, IMO, extremely good. All episodes are currently on ITV Player.

I've got all five episodes in HD but haven't watched any yet, I'm quite looking forward to it.

first episode is a bit slow and dull, but worth sticking with it as it does get pretty interesting by the second episode once the back stories start going

If viewing UK reality shows makes someone feel connected then fair enough. I enjoy watching the occasional British program as well, and there are plenty of interesting ones available on PBS (basic cable package) without having to mess about with all this stuff.

The more I read of these threads, the more I appreciate the variety of TV available in Canada. Familiarity is not the same as quality.
