I meant the number of people overall. Normally one big cheese guarantor and two references.

I'm sure my stepdaughter said that if the declaration in lieu of guarantor was done, then more than the usual two references were needed.

If your problem was knowing enough Canadians for long enough (two years) so that you needed the declaration in lieu then requiring additional references from not enough people you don't know for long enough wouldn't make sense. But it's Canada.

But I just had a quick check and it seems to be the usual two. I note the page is dated January. Maybe it was before then and has been changed.

I just got these done at CanadaPost in the Shoppers Drugmart.

Worst thing ever is the British Government want a copy of every darn page in my Canadian passport :-(

Has anyone else been through this process? Do you think I could get away with not telling them that I'm Dual now?

I never have. I don't think they've ever asked.

I've copied it now. 10 minutes and a lot of ink.

The have a tick box and request copies of non-British passports now.

I'm sure you get get away with it but at the same time they have some very strongly worded language around finding out you've bent the rules.

Last thing I want is to be extradited to Zimbabwe.
