Try British Pantry in NW Calgary. It is in the shopping centre between Crowchild and Sir Winston Churchill School.

I buy Tetley tea at Sobeys, but it's available even at 7-11.

Havent seen Robinsons cordial anywhere though...

I think if you look very, very, very carefully you'll find that teabags in a variety of brand names can be found in supermarkets and corner stores. At least that was the case the last time I looked, which was as long ago as this morning.

amazing things, these supermarkets you speak of. Do you mean to tell me that you can buy things to eat and drink from them? Strange foreign things that people in the Old Country eat? Sage advice, O Great One.

I don't think the Sage tastes the same though. No flavour.

Yep, and before you know it, you'll be eating donuts for breakfast and be just as obese as the rest of North Americans.

Quick which has more calories and saturated fats a couple of donuts or a full English breakfast. :p

I was amazed how much the Pricesmart English Breakfast tea tasted like PG tips. I always think it's worth at least giving equivalents a try before desperately hunting for the british-only brands.

The Pricesmart near me also stocks hob nobs, so yeah, I'd go with the supermarket vote as well, unless you really are in such a remote location none exist.

Re: british food

Teabags - at pretty much any supermarket
Robisons juice - you are prob looking at a "british shop" but fwisw, superstore and costco sell ribena
Hobnobs - superstore... they also sell penguins and waggon wheels. my kids have become addicted to both of those...

I know exactly what you mean. Names like Kraft, Ford, Mars, Heinz, Kelloggs, Gillette, Pringles etc, etc, etc. and now Cadbury's.
