Re: Breakfast Choices
You can't beat a full English breakfast...fried bread, hash browns, fried egg, mushrooms, back bacon, sausages, baked beans and tomatoes.

Re: Breakfast Choices
Tomorrow, I'm having Sautéed Fiddleheads with Grilled bacon (dodgy bacon, but wonderful Fiddleheads).

Re: Breakfast Choices
From memory, like asparagus, but more expensive.
It's recommended that they be well cooked to avoid being poisoned and I thought it ruined them.
Poisoned or soggy and overcooked? Eat asparagus instead.

I once wrote a 'Field guide to Fiddleheads', you know.
Anyone can read it (apart from Oink, as he's been BANNED), it's here:

Re: Breakfast Choices
I had 3 soft boiled (6 min medium) eggs with salt and pepper and a pat of butter and a little pile of toast. At home Sundays (at one time) were special so we'd have pancakes or waffles or soft boiled eggs... obviously eggs are easiest.
