I have belonged there for years. I admit I haven't been for a couple of months because I was busy doing other things - but now my link says 404 - Not Found. Anyone know if it's moved or gone never to return?

I've noticed this also, but then a day later, it's back up again.
I think they're probably being harassed by lawyers, so they have to switch servers etc.
UKNOVA was taken down for this reason a year or two ago.

OK. Thanks. Yes I noticed UK Nova is gone.

I do use the BBC iPlayer on the iPad, but there is no sport. I am into cycling stage races and although there are loads more on TV now, I would still like to download them and put them on the iPad so I can watch anywhere I like.

I will check back tomorrow. The Empire is the same - 404 not found.

Yes, although I found them not to be as harsh with ratio's etc as thebox.

thebox and theempire seems to be ok for me. I have on occasion had them become inaccessible for a couple of hours, but they always seem to come back.

UKNOVA was closed down a while ago, I think part of the reason was they hosted their servers in the US, and as is known, the US frowns a tiny bit on torrents of tv shows.

I just tried again and it still says 404 - not found.

It is with great sadness that we must announce the closure of TheBox.bz, effective on September 1st. This decision has not been an easy one but, given the increasingly hostile climate towards torrent sites as of late, we feel it's a necessary move.

On September 1st, the torrent section of the website will be deactivated. As TheBox has always been as much about community as about sharing, forums and private messages will remain functional for a while longer. Afterward, we will securely wipe all account details before retiring the server for good.

I have belonged for years and years. That is really too bad. I love watching the UK TV shows. I subscribe to the BBC on the iPad but they have no sports at all on there. I like the documentaries and the news shows and they do have some of those.

The Bill some of the later series before the show got cancelled 20 and upwards, I'm using TV Chaos for most things nowdays but they don't have them there

I was a member there and lost my account due to inactivity out of my hands. Motherboard got fried after a power cut. Was without a PC for weeks
