Bowen Technique

Has anyone used this method of therapy? Did it work for you? Did you have any side effects? A work colleague practices this method and has suggested she might be able to help my painful feet:fingerscrossed: I have googled and got some info but wondered if there were any real life people out there!

Diagnosed with Plantar Fasciitis, orthotics help to a point but if I overdo the walking/standing thing then I certainly know about it - and my knees are not happy if I end up crawling - no carpet in this house:blink:

I had bad PF for years: finally my physio had me do "ballistic stretches" the whole goal being to break the scar tissue around the tendons. It worked!!!!

PMSL - Don't worry - I was just being a completely paranoid prat! I didn't get the Bullseye reference straight away, but had worked out that "Bus Fare Home" was the meaning of the first TLA...I'd just not made the link to a quiz show.

Then I assumed a rather offensive "title" was being bestowed on me, rather than the poster just making light of the fact that I wasn't very quick on the uptake

I had some Bowen therapy on a frozen shoulder (not caused by Canadian winter but back in the UK). While the therapy was not a cure, it did do some good, was pleasant and strange at the same time.

Hope that helps.

Warmly,

Frank
