Black Friday in Canada?

Granted, the deals are not going to be anywhere near those found down south...but is anyone really getting any great deals here?

you're clearly not a shopper. consumerism knows no bounds.

a number of large (mainly american) retailers have released black friday sales announcements in canada too.

I wonder if the hype will have any impact on sales for Canada's busiest day - 23rd December?

There is 60% off at Gap online and in stores, ends Saturday. Which is actually a bugger as I just bought a whole of stuff in there last weekend :frown:

We attended the pre-Black Friday discount madness in Buffalo NY last weekend and obtained a low water consumption toilet for $84. Maybe we'll go back this week for the bathtub.

One of the advantages is not being stuck waiting to cross the border back into Canada and having to deal with those nasty border dudes or whatever other endearing names you have for us LOL.

You could have got the same thing at Lowes last week, they even had a BOGOF going at the time.

With your drive, petrol and time on the road, hardly a saving

A free toilet isn't much of an incentive.

Now, a BOGOF on buckets would be of great interest to those of us with no roof.

The saving on a van load of stuff is, of course, fantastic. Just the saving on a bag of dog food pays for the petrol.
