Hey guys,
Just a bit of an update, for those of you who dont know, we now have our skilled worker visas after 3 1/2 long years of waiting.
Our daughter is 19 and shes itching to get over ther already, and so thats why Im writing this post.
We have been applying frantically on t'interweb to all the hotel chains in Whistler for a waitressing / Bar work / Child care type of job for her, so was wondering if any of you guys out there had any leads, knew anyone who could help?
Sometimes its who you know right?
She would go tomorrow if she could, so we are tring like mad.
Hoping someone may be able to advise / help
Anyways, have a great chrimbo all of you.
Mike

There are hotel type jobs available in Whistler. Almost zero chance of getting one over the internet. A personal contact will help so you may get some luck here.
Have you landed yet? If so, her best bet is to hop on a plane and get over here. If not, you need to land first. A face to face meeting with a hotel manager (with PR and SIN card ready to show them) is the most likely way to get work.

I would have thought at this point in time, getting a hotel job in Whistler would be as easy as turning up and showing you have a pulse. However finding somewhere to live would be next to impossible.
