Not boring at all. An excellent suggestion in fact. That's what my OH and I do. Have done for years.

We do the same thing at Christmas too, I think there just comes a point when you really don't want any more unessesary stuff.

That's how we see it. Our adult kids too. It does more good going to someone who needs it. I appreciate it more.

A day at a Spa (not the shop:) )with some good friends. Always good to have a bit of a pamper and with some friends it's always a laugh.

what i would like is a weekend of luxury pure and simple, taken to a 5 star hotel with spa, booked in for all the treatments, champagne before dinner, beautiful dinner in a restaurant overlooking ocean or snowcapped mountains.
beautiful room. with balcony and views and georgous bathroom with fluffy bathrobes, heaven ,things I will never probably experience but dream about, time just for hubby and me, our time:thumbsup:
