Was wondering if anyone was watching the Canadian version on Slice? I actually have tickets for an eviction show in April...

Its amazing what Yorkshire people do for entertainment. I guess TO isnt a hotbed for whippet racing and pigeons.

I watch it. Seen all the UK ones before we moved in 2007, then the US versions. Much refer US/Canada version where it's all strategy, plotting and planning.

UK version went over the top years ago (remember Kinga and the wine bottle bleurrghhhh). They all act up for the camera because its the public who votes Contestants out. Then they all come out thinking they are top celebs. Here we rarely hear about them again which is how it should be

I would like the diary room to be a bigger feature here though, complete with Geordie accent lol

Little known fact: The voice over for Big Brother - "daiiiyyy fooory foor in the big brother hoose"...was none other than our own Novocastrian. True dat.

I don't really watch the show, but the parts I've seen makes me agree with this, it's much more interesting. In the UK version they disqualified "Nasty Nick" for actually playing the show that way and that never made sense to me since isn't that the whole point?

I am extremely proud of my reputtaion for never having watched a single but of the show, be it UK Canadian or otherwise.
However I am willing to accept that we all have our "guilty pleasures" TV moments.
