Best Pub in Toronto?
Im heading West to the Toronto for a few days this month and wondered what the cognoscenti thought were the best pubs in Toronto.
Of course this is subjective but for the record Im a real ale lover who is more of a brown pub kind of guy. Any thoughts or suggestions welcome. Oh and I'll be staying downtown. Thanks |

Downtown.
Most beers and ciders: C'est What? Wear a beret, carry a volume of poetry in another language. |
Re: Best Pub in Toronto?
Snap! or Jinx! or whatever it is here.

Re: Best Pub in Toronto?
Bar Volo also offers a range of beer but you'll feel you've bought the building, not just the beer.
If I may offer a stronge negative suggestion, the Beer Bistro, if not yet bankrupt, deserves to be. |

Yonge and Wellesley, didn't we go there once for board related drinking?
Define "we". I don't know it at all. On edit, I don't think I'd wander sight unseen into a place called Bar Volo, ignorant as I am about what Volo might mean in the current language of the street. |

Queen and Beaver.

Re: Best Pub in Toronto?
The Queen and Beaver on Elm Street - Good food, reasonable range of beer (according to OH) and if you are into watching football they show live matches - at Stupid o`Clock !
