Best place for a holiday?

Re: Best place for a holiday?
Depends how much time and budget you have. The two main tourist routes are Toronto/Quebec or Vanvouver/Rockies. They're about 5hrs apart by plane.

Re: Best place for a holiday?
What time of year and what do you like to do on holiday? You do need to be far more specific.

Re: Best place for a holiday?
+1 for being more specific.
You might as well have asked "I want to go to Europe for a holiday. Where is best?" Post a bit more about what kind of holiday you are looking for. Do you want to visit cities? Do you want to go to the beach? Outdoorsy hiking? Camping in the middle of nowhere? Mountain climbing? Kayaking? etc etc etc. |
Re: Best place for a holiday?
Our best family holidays in Canada were renting a cottage on a lake in QC. No internet, likely no phone, no TV. Kayaks and canoes in the garden, BBQ pit, nearest shop about a 10 mile drive away. Neighbour with a speedboat, enjoyed a beer and similarly aged kids.
Heaven! |

Re: Best place for a holiday?
Simple choice for me....
drive up the east side of the rockies to NWT (Yellowknife) drive back down to the alaskan highway across to the Yukon (White horse) get a ferry down to BC (Prince George)and drive down the west coast to Vancouver  |
