Does that mean that I dont have to re-enter Canada before it expires; I thought I had to do that.
Do I just have to wait til I re-enter at any point in the future?
Did she have to re-apply for PR?
Do you know does that affect my children with PR status?

For the case of my Wife, all she needed to do was complete these forms http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/informa...ons/travel.asp and then apply for a new PR card once settled back in Canada.
