Here's a thermal image of my border collies. The basketball they've been playing with (for the last 2 hours!) has now been cornered by them in my office.

You know, all that stuff about dogs regulating their body temperature by panting is not really the whole truth.
As far as I can figure out, they also rely on conduction through their paws (and the surfaces they prefer to touch them with) to cool down/warm up.
Their ears and eyes also seem key contributors to their cooling process.
Dogs are awesome!!!

Hmm, one of my cats is more like the dog, and one of my dogs is more like the cat. I'm starting to doubt that your diagrams are made by scientists at all and are simply made up by random internet jokers from /b/ or some such.
