Certainly - Magners, Strongbow - what's your fancy???? did you bring any GOOD Chianti with you????
#3979
Used to drink Strongbow - sister made me try Magners at Xmas. I liked it but not the price of it.
You could probably have 2 bottles of Chianti for one of Magners.
That's more than a fair swap methinks.
Cheers - salute - slainte

I'll happily swap Chianti for cider.

I'd happily post something Italian to somebody if they would post me a good book in English. I don't even care if they are well read. I need books in English and the few I can get here are all about £12 each - even the skinny slim books that I can finish in an hour.
I can read Italian - not the same thing at all

Maybe somebody could set up a BE swap shop.

I'm in Canada, the cost to post a Mountie would e hellish>.......
what would you want from here that's light????
#3987
Not sure about what else Canada has to offer in the way of light posting, ie, just sticking something in a jiffy bag.
You can leave the moose there thanks. Not sure my neighbours would appreciate one in the back garden.

the only decent t-bags are the Brit ones here................how about maple syrup sweeties?
#3989
Oh we get Twinings but far far too expensive.
I'm not keen on maple syrup but I have an Italian friend that lived in Montreal for 5 years (that's probably why she's such a good friend - not too Italian mamma type and all that) and she loves it.
Nobody knows why it's hard to get hold of here. She makes me bring her some back each time I go back to the Uk.

There are no Brit t-bags here. Only crap like Liptons and Italian Star Thè.
