I'm talking about real bitters like Marston's pedigree and Theakstons best bitter (not that chewy old peculiar). Tetleys Bitter in Scarborough was as smooth as silk....I'm making myself homesick.

OK lets stop that... Rickards Red is a nice beer and moosehead pretty ok too. nope didnt work. oh well just have to start up a beer import export business I guess.

Thats a brilliant idea for beer import, but isnt there rules on that in canada :curse:

Yes you are right about import and export of alcohol (especially in NB). NB Liquor do source some UK beers and then proceed to store their bottles of Newqie Brown and Bitters in very cold fridges .... subsequently no flavour until you allow them to settled down. I use a cool room we have in the basement to store beer. I am all for lobbying a local brewery to start producing something like Yorkshire bitter (I also fondly remember Mansfield Bitter )
