The Bar Is Now Open

We have had problems with herons - our house backs onto a nature reserve with several lakes so they are always flying over. I ended up having lots of pots of acers etc round the pool so the herons couldn't land/take off. Someone we know of had a BIG koi set-up and arrived home one day to find their £2,000 champion koi expired on the patio! A heron had tried to get it but it must have been too heavy so had been dropped!! It would have broken my heart

I'm sitting under the (sun)umbrella making lists of items we still have to sell - where do they all come from! Last chance this week or they go to the charity shop or the tip! We have a season ticket to our local tip - you'll get to know your tip very well in the next few months

Do you think Gay is getting stuck into the booze now?

Of course it will sell
You have GOT to keep believing that or you will never be ready - I am the proof
The whole selling process is so fraught - we did a lot of de-cluttering over the last year and then decided to fnish it when the house sold. We have sold but won't exchange until this week and complete the week after. We hope to fly out on the 20th
It's very difficult to sell things when it's not 100% definate - that's why we (that means I) are in last minute panic. Men just don't take it so seriously
My advice would be to try and get rid of some things gradually - you might get a buyer who can complete in 2 weeks like the TW's
Could you meet that deadline at the moment?
Good luck

I'm p*ssed off
Looks like our solicitor is playing silly b*ggers
We were told last week that the freehold had been sorted - we have bought the freehold prior to sale. Today OH went to solicitors and it is NOT sorted! Papers in Solicitor's in tray and she's not back till Wednesday. Have put packers back a week - might be able to bring it forward again but as she's not in till Wednesday I don't know!!
I want a very, very large drink - what do you suggest
