One minute we were cooking supper (okat the OH was cooking supper, I was on BE:eek:) the wind started howling, the sky turned black then you could see it coming..............pretty scary. Switched off everything to head to the basement, but had to watch as the sky was electric, the wind was incredible. Our street was like a river, debris flying everwhere.......................

Ok...your dreams are probably more X rated and revolve more around bacon and such things, but I got the impression you were not a big fan of vaughan and its similar looking siblings.
Was it wild in your bit of paradise too? |

There was a lot of rain and that caused me to drive slowly which was unfortunate as I had take out Thai food in the car and it's better to get it home property hot. By the time I got home it was hardly raining though the OH said that it had been as wild as she's seen.

As I mentioned, I LOVE storms!! :)
There is more footage on the BBC news site, and a picture slide show on the globe and mail. At least one person was killed, somewhat surprising its not more, given the huge area last nights storm cells rolled through, both north and south of the border. |

Good. I like the take out from that place better than eating in. Styrofoam seems a less ridiculous serving vessel than half an artfully carved pineapple.
although, not as kind to the enviroment as the pineapple boat - always looking for good Thai...........are you in the boonies? |

Very much so. That food came from the Seven Stars in Orangeville which isn't usually on my way home but I had to deliver eggs to Georgetown. I think I like the place on the south side of Queen in the Beach better, the one where the Nova fish bar used to be, but the Seven Stars is pretty good.

Just to think had I bought the house in Georgetown i'd considered, you could have delivered eggs to me;) I will be in the Beach area tomorrow, and may take a look at your suggested Thai.
Note that I also deliver eggs in Mississauga. At least I do when the ex isn't summering in Europe. |
