Really.....need to get out more then don't ya? Go to the website "militaryphotos.net" and see the in theatre pics posted by various military folks from around the world, especially of their special forces

Nothing I posted jeopardizes any Op or Ex going on anywhere. Ignorance as they say can be bliss at times ;)

Obviously I'm not doubting you, you posted the pictures. But I am surprised that the military allows its personnel to take personal equipment such as cameras into operations or exercises, that's all. Especially after some of the scandals.

Oil companies are not so tolerant. You're not allowed to take cameras (including cellphones with cameras) into most oilfields or operating environments.

Perzactly. I have it on good authority that all photos of Regiment personnel are classified as "Secret". Many heads rolled when Bravo Two Zero etc. published them to the world. Having said that, most units employ phots.

The CF obviously allows cameras. I've got photos of what a Nyala looks like after it meets an IED.
