Smile April in England

So I hear its getting hot over there for the Easter weekend.

My question to you peeps that are still in the UK, is it getting GREEN yet?
If so post your pictures I am curious.

Its still snowing here in Calgary and has been since Sunday. I have had a fantastic winter skiing, but am looking forward to spring, some warmth and some colour. This is the first week in the whole time I have been here, (10 months )that I have some grumbles about the weather which isnt bad . I have also only used my umbrella twice since September (NO RAIN ) so life is good.

Other than that I seem to be having a love affiar with those mountains they never look the same twice . I should change my avatar to mountain girl instead .

Smelly - Hi - it IS VERY GREEN here ! Sorry !

22 degrees in Surrey yesterday afternoon - took the kids to the park and lay down on a bench while they played (probably looked like a local bum crashed out) - but it was really lovely. And yep, forecast set to be good all weekend - but I am working 12 hours today so going to miss it all today

Last few daffoldils still trying hard to keep their end up - tulips out - those little blue (grape?) hyacinth thingies, pieris new red leaves coming. I LOVE this bit of the British garden life cycle.

I'm feeling fed up for you for the Calgary weather ! It's enough now, thank you, stop snowing and please bring out some warmth...
(And hurry up, green stuff).

However, you DO get to go to Sunshine today ... say no more - enjoy !

(Must learn how to do pictures, this is really bugging me - technophobe - and I know it's not that difficult ! )

Yep, we're on an easter break in Edinburgh, flew up on Tuesday. It has been absolutely glorious here, only problem is that I didn't pack much for warm weather, a couple of t-shirts and that's it, I only have one pair of shoes with me and they are boots ! Very unseasonal weather; no doubt when we fly back to Cornwall next Wednesday it will turn.

Happy Easter everyone.

No photos, but the weather here has been glorious today. We've been out in the garden tidying up and cleaning the patio furniture ..... in fact we had a ploughmans lunch on the patio

It's still a tad chilly here in Winnipeg, but at least we haven't got those damn Mountains to get in the way of the view.

Oh man..........gonna have to keep the OH away from this today. If he sees those pics I may aswell pack up my bags and get my backside down to the airport right now.

Are the trees really in full leaf like that ALREADY !
We had a glimpse of spring last week, then BAM back to snow again.
This winter has been sooooooooo longgggggg !
Supposed to get better as from tomorrow though.......can live in hope

23 degrees in Kamloops yesterday - spent the day quad biking in the bush. Got chillier as we got to the snow-line (around 1350m).

Forecast for 24 degrees today

I was just going to say the same thing Rich. It's 22 forcast for Kelowna today and it's 7 degrees where I am up here at Big White (local ski hill), bright blue skys and plenty of sunshine. I love the Spring Snowboarding
Can't believe it's still snowing in Calgary and Toronto bbbrrrr.
