Re the new Cactus Club in Coal Harbour - we went there at 10pm last night. They told us there's a 40 min wait for a table (there were lots of empty tables around). It was sooo busy - felt like a McDonalds. I had never been to a CC before. Is that what it's like? Very pretentious. Sorry, but I don't wait for tables. So we went to Prestons instead. No wait, no snobbery, lovely staff and $6 wine on Weds.

Gosh, I need to learn all these venues! Been to cactus club in yaletown. No table wait but I did notice it seemed full of new money hipsters
