Anyone know if there is an equivalent of 'clearing' in Canada?

Just that really. I'm sure if I could come up with the right words Google would have the answer, but no luck so far.

Presume OP means the equivalent to UCAS University clearing whereby they tell you which Uni will consider you based on your A level results?

Stinky pup. Surely not? Flipancy is punished by frowns in Canada I'm told. :)

University applications are not centralized like they are in the UK so I don't think so. As far as I can see you will need to speak to each University individually

It depends on the province. In Ontario they are centralized but you choose which universities you want them to send your application to.

just saw this thread & the first thing that I figured the OP was asking was 'financial clearing' as in 'did my cheque clear the bank' or was it held for several days?

I was thinking of the clearing where Lucy met Mr Tumnus.

By the lamp post.
