I am between "jobs" at the moment in that I am due to set up my own law firm (office, etc. is all done) but I have agreed to remain a this firm until at Trial that I am scheduled to appear at has either taken place or the matter settles.

Both sides can't be bothered to properly instruct their lawyers as they both think it will settle. I have given all my other matters to other lawyers at the office. The only matter I have retained is the one going to Trial. The beginning of the Trial is just over two weeks away.

I am confident that the parties' minds will only begin to focus once the Trial looms large. In the meantime, I have never been as bored in my life.

I have surfed every website I wanted to, have tried to avoid posting drivel on this site.

Does anyone have any suggestions other than to take a long walk on a short pier?

Any house reno's you have been putting off ? When I was 'let go', I redid the deck and painted all the white woodwork, in readiness to sell at some point. In fact we sold within 10 days of marketing so the effort was worthwhile.

I'll give you $50 to come round and tidy up my garden, and get it nice looking for the spring.
