Default Antibiotics

Is there any problem with repeating a course of antibiotics (different ailments) with just a week between courses? Normally, I'm fairly hesitant on using antibiotics as its said overuse can lead to reduced efficiency, not only on a personal level but on a population level.

No, no real harm but as you say are they necessary?-certainly here there have been a load of viral upper respiratory infections- occasionally bacterial chest infection- we are constantly being pestered for antibiotics and resist unless clinically indicated - probiotics wouldn't come amiss if you really had to take both courses

I am on antibiotics again after a 5 day break. First time was for eh ill skip why and now I apparently have a respitory infection.

I havent a clue if its bacterial or viral and just do what the doctor says.

The one and only time I put off taking antbiotics because eh its probably viral, I nearly went sepsis. I got lectured by the ER doc on that one.

Hope you feel better Shard.
