Another Insufferable Cyclist

I am better than all of you car-driving planet killers cos I cycled into work this morning.

:thumbsup::p

I walked to subway to get lunch today...

only because the car is in for a service mind you.

30°C plus humidity here... too hot to cycle:p

I walked to work. No need for machinery, no need to dress up in spandex.

There is no spandex...there will never be spandex...ugh

Just wore normal clothes.

A couple of Saturdays ago I was waiting on a corner in Toronto (Bay and Carlton) for 45 minutes. Bored, I started counting bicyclists. 107 went by (well some may have repeated) 3 in spandex, 104 in normal clothes. 3 wore helmets; the spandex 3. I wondered if those garish outfits make bicycling dangerous.

That's what summer does to you... :rofl:

Congratulations on your achievement - may the sun stick around for a while so that this is just the beginning of your cycle commuter career. :thumbsup:

I cycled to the post office earlier (incidentally, to pick up a recorded signed for letter which turned out to be our COPR :thumbsup:).

There is something quite smug-inducing about cycling, it has to be said, not sure what it is though! And so pleasant on a sunny day.

Not if they are the US team colors with black shorts like this

They may, however, make things dangerous if they're the Polish national colors, red and white, like this
