Am I the only person sick of Lance Armstrong?

I was living in France for all the time this sod kept winning the Tour, and I listened to the anti American bleating. Now he's fessed up and told us that he's a druggie, a very rich druggie and one hell of a great liar. Thank heaven I'm not in France now, they must be loving this. But now he won't shut up - every programme I turn to from The Today Programme to Freddie fm has this man spilling his beans and telling us how humbled he has been. He doesn't sound a bit humbled. Now he's saying that if he can no longer compete he's been handed a death sentence, and wittering on about his loss of sponsorship. Get a grip man! Please stop giving this new born Evangelist airtime!

I saw a tweet earlier that summed things up:

Lance Armstrong calls his ban "a death sentence". 3,000 on Death Row say they'll swap for never riding a f*****g bicycle

No you're not the only one. The man is beyond redemption if after cheating his sport, repeatedly lying to the world and back stabbing his friends, he actually expects some sympathy. He is the biggest cheat since Bernie Madoff and his name should become synonymous with cheating and lying. It is bad enough to do it, but to then accuse and sue others when called to account is despicable.

There's no escaping the twat. Anyone else notice how he talked in the third person about some of his more nefarious activities? He regrets nothing except getting caught.

Hear very little about him because I don't bother watching nonsense like Oprah Winfrey.

With a bit of luck he will be bankrupted when all the people/organisations he sued return the favour.

They should allow him back on the Tour de Farce but limit him to a three wheeled tri-cycle....and as he goes past those 'loyal supporters' they can p*ss on him....we all know he won't suffer a bean...a 9mm to the side of his head wouldn't go a miss either.

That's one comment too far, I think.

 I hadn't watched Oprah in years as I find her so annoying and smug and self-righteous....I did however watch a few minutes of her interview with Lance (I am a die hard Tour de france watcher) and he really came across robotic...I haven't heard anyone speak in the 3rd person so much since some riveting interviews with Gary Neville....

Lance really did throw some of his team mates under the bus in all of this.

Ive never watched Winfrey in my life...this morning, having a large pile of ironing and little enthusiasm for it, I tuned into 'the flagship of the Beeb' radio 4 and he was all over it like a rash, he was even the subject of Thought for the Day, with the Bishop of somewhere discussing lies and forgiveness, I am trembling with anticipation to listen to the Archers, I'm fully expecting him to pop up in bloody Borsetshire. When he's getting more airtime than these poor sods in Algeria the world has gone mad.

Just me being pedantic but surely by starting this thread your giving him more airtime.

My two cents is that he never apologised and he skirted around everything, it's all spin as they say in PR/marketing !

He shouldn't be allowed back into sport and it annoyed me that he had got involved in triathlon before the USDA ban and he wants the ban lifted so he can do more triathlon. He has stained cycling and I do not want him to do the same with triathlon. My brother in law is a pro triathlete and works hard to scrape by, my brother in law does not have million dollar sponsors and is a genuine down to earth guy and I don't want his sport ruined.
