All packed up...
#1
We had the shippers in Monday and Tuesday - very impressed - they were quick and efficient and seemed to pack up everything well.
With my super neat and tidy head on I tied bits of string on all the kitchen cupboards that had stuff to go and they seemd to like that! I also put all the stuff we were taking into two rooms and then it was easy for them to just pack everything in sight in that room.
Looks like the shipment will be arriving much earlier than the 4 to 6 weeks we were estimated (i.e. 19 days) but although that sounds impressive we don 't have anywhere to live yet - how typical is that.
Anyway, thought I'd post a couple of pics for the curious ones among you so you know what to expect. Oh and I learned that lorry drivers like 3 sugars in their tea!
Now sorting out the final bits and bobs before we leave for Calgary next week and seem to be stressing out over nothing i.e. have I packed something important in the container, will the house exchange bepore we go, will the house sale fall through before we go, have I done eveything on the paperwork front, what on earth am I doing??? etc etc

Another one on their way - very good luck with everything
They did our packing too - you'll have never seen so much packing paper around your kitchen stuff in your life - it takes forever to un-do all their hard work
Our shipment was about 20 days too.
