Advice: do not send beer in the post!
#1
My brother sent us a lovely parcel from the UK for Christmas. It arrived today with a big yellow sticker saying it had been opened by the Canada Border Services Agency. I must admit they opened it really carefully and taped it up nicely and if it wasn't for the yellow sticker we never would have known.
Inside the CBSA left us a little letter. Apparently my brother had included a 500ml can of Bishops Finger for the other half but they had confiscated it and its currently in Toronto awaiting destruction!!! At least they didn't confiscate the choccies I suppose (Merry Christmas to you too, CBSA!
)
I now have visions of CBSA officers sitting in a car outside our house and keeping us under surveillance as we are now known as illicit "beer importers"!

Did they say why they'd confiscated it? Maybe they thought there really was a Bishop's Finger in there?

O that is so unfair.......
We got a parcel in today and the parcel came in with a scanned label attached.
He'd sent stuff for the kids, including selection boxes and ready brek, lets just say the ready brek didnt make it to father christmas and we have just all finished a real good bowl full..................
Glad they didnt open the box and take that out or they would of ended up with a very irrate me
