Quick question
If we get a flight from Toronto to Manchester via a 2 hour and 4 hour stop (return) in Philly USA, do we have to submit an API ?
We are Canadian and UK citizens with Canadian passports

All I know is that we have returned to Canada from Australia with a stop in Hawaii on several occasions and in Los Angeles a couple of times The most recent was a stop over in LA 10 years ago (2006), so not very up-to-date.
BUT every time, we have had to go through US Customs and Immigration. Every time has involved changing planes, though usually with the same airline or partner ............ the last time was the only time that we also had to collect our luggage, take them through Customs and then put them on a conveyor belt to be loaded onto the plane to Vancouver.
We are Canadian citizens with Canadian passports, and have forgotten all about being UK citizens!

If on Canadian passports you don't need to do anything apart from any declaration cards.
