Default Admission of liking Canada!

It has taken just over three years for it to become official. At last Jules has admitted she likes living here Not to me though, heck that would be like telling me I was right

Has anyone else experienced a "delayed liking" confession for living in Canada ?

Can't have a woman admitting a man is right, that would cause massive panic.

I knew I loved Canada within 2 hrs of stepping off the plane. Blue skies, warm weather and friendly people, though I love the snow too.

I've recently moved into "it's OK" territory.

That's roughly where I am at right now.

Some days I feel contented enough to admit that I could see myself living out the rest of my life here. Some days I want to buy the first ticket home. Que cera.

Especially at this time of year. Oddly enough, in the winter I look forward to a warm summer, and in the summer I look forward to a nice snowy winter.

WOW that's getting awfully close to that dreaded -30 figure.

By the way it's +9°C in Calgary this morning.

The “Its Ok” arrives in May,
and as the humidity goes up in July disappears,
only to return again around late August
However it completely vaporizes at first big snow shovelling

Currently would jump at the first decent Job offer in a better climate

One morning this week it was -29.5 in my car. The next morning I got up early in the hope of seeing a new record for cold but I couldn`t find my bloody phone and that made me late, it was only -27.5 when I got to the car.

Leave your phone in the car next time? Might not do the battery much good, but at least you'll see a record....
