Default Abolish or Reform the Senate.

So it now appears that Pamela Wallin might now be facing allegations of fraud and breach of trust according to court documents submitted by the RCMP.
No formal charges have yet to be laid.

Along with several others such as Duffy, Brazeau being investigated & Harb resigning it now appears that the Red Chamber of sober second thought is not as sober as its made out to be.
Obviously the Supreme Court will make a decision on what can be done but what happens after that is anyones guess.
Do we keep the Senate or reform it as to how it operates and how one becomes a Senator.
Im against appointing persons based on patronage so do we allow the respective provinces and territories to nominate and select Senators regardless of party alliance.
Is the Senate just a smaller version of the House of Lords?
