As much of an inconvenience this snow is you couldn't pay me enough to move down there.

This has been a terrible year down there for these storms. They saying at least 215 dead so far in this last series of tornadoes.

Very sad - terrible few weeks for them :(

A few more flakes in comparison - we can't complain really.

Puts my weather woes into perspective (both Steve's photo, and the news from the US.) It's beautifully sunny here but only 12C and until I saw this thread I was bemoaning the fact that it's too cold for our tortoises to go into their outdoor enclosures...

No snow out here in the ridge; though it got down to 2C last night. And it's pissing it down again as well.

I'm really hoping May will see an improvement. I'm sick of this crap now - where the **** is the decent weather?

No bugs round here. Not yet, anyway. I did see a wolf last month, that was quite exciting.

No snow but high winds here, trees bending and twisting. Houses in the street look ok but I've heard there's a barn blocking a road not so far from the village. Well maybe a barn in bits, but the road is closed.

Time to ring home ET. (Iaink)

As long as management is in charge. She should run for mayor, or PM or somesuch vacancy. That'll sort things out.

Dont tempt her! Anyway, shes either out and the power is still out, or the house has been blown into the river (it wouldnt have to go far, if it rises much higher we will have waterfront property)

You are supposed to be without power till 11pm according to this...

I wasn't going to get down in the gutter but you're going to raise suspicions hanging around a kiddies swing-park for two and half hours.

Was in Golden Ears camping over the long weekend - Saturday was lovely!

And then summer finished at about 11am Sunday, and winter seems to have been back since... :(

I suspect it's only a matter of minutes before one of our NS residents posts a gloating bulletin that it's +20C here right now, and we all got sun tans over the weekend
