How it spirals, Jim Davidson's charges relate to girls in their 20's 20-30 years ago, DLT charges relate to touching 30-40 years ago.
I find this all quite pathetic really.
The 70's were different times, no one ever watch 'life on Mars' and laugh at how things were then. The 'Carry On' films could never be made now.
I remember an old mate who used to tweak the nipples of girls in the pub as a joke (and he was gay).
I find it hard to get behind the police here, prosecuting celebrities on current standards for 'offences' so many years ago at a time when standards were different.
This is not saying that rape and indecent acts with children should be ignored, but the net appears to be very wide for all sorts of what would be minor infringements made a long long time ago, as said when standrads were different anyway.
