20 year old lad in victoria
Moved here a month ago from watford. Only place i found for footy on saturdays is the sticky wicket in town. Was wondering if anyone knew where people were meeting up for england v mexico or if there were any ex pat "pub" teams for when te season is back on, thanks a lot
Also looking for a labouring job if anyone needs an englishman working for them, thanks again, r.dodds

I'll ask my son, who is also 20 in Victoria and let you know what I find out. We have found it rather difficult to find an ex-pat community in Victoria, but who knows you may spark one off!

Cheers mate, found that nowhere in town has it on but i found a site called zattoo.com which has live streaming of itv
but u need a uk proxy which is easy to get by searching google.
How long you been out here?
Its just me and the parents out here, got a carpentry course in october at camosun.

I have yet to track down my son, who lives a busy life! But my husband suggested the Pennyfarthing in Oak Bay. There are quite a number of Brits in Oak Bay and the Pennyfarthing is the "English" pub to match the "Irish" and "Scottish" versions in Government Street. (The Irish Times and the Bard and Banker respectively). It might be worth giving them a ring at least.
When is the game?
I'll keep asking for you and let you know if I come up with anything.

Thanks alot im actually watching it now through the zattoo thing so its live on itv!! But ill look into the penny farthing for the japan game next week, thanks for the quick reply.

Found out today that apparently im not on the college course as they hadnt told me that i need to do an assessment before i get onto the list! Handed the applucation in 3 weeks ago!!!
