Congrats!! Gorgeous, gorgeous name.
Enjoy every minute. Our two are the only grandchildren on both sides and are thoroughly spoilt by 4 doting grandparents who just adore them!! All of the fun and none of the responsibility or sleepless nights!

She's really cute. I like that name too. My son and his wife are expecting next month and they had picked Ava for a name. But then they said it was too popular. I said, doesn't matter, you pick an unpopular name - everyone hears it and in the end you only have the first "whatever" so it doesn't really matter. Names come and go.
Friends called their baby Amira. I had forgotten what their friends looked like and the picture I had in my head of an "Amira" was a rather exotic looking, almond eyed dark haired girl. She turned out to be blonde and not at all exotic looking. She looked more like a "Daisy" to me. But then I suppose eventually she will suit her name - or the name will suit her.
