Just thought I'd post to say that our belongings have all disappeared in a container for shipment and then my partner James and I fly out to start our new life in Calgary in 11 days time.
Only a week left of work in the UK and then we're on our way. Getting very excited about the whole thing now and can't believe how quickly it's all starting to go!
Now if only the house would just sell I'd be eternally grateful!

Odd feeling isn't it when the container disappears off down the road with all your belongings! Felt very strange to us anyway. Fingers crossed for smooth seas!

Best wishes for your move across. Hope it goes fantastically for you both.
Kind regards from just down the road from Calgary, in Okotoks,
Eamonn & Janet.

Thanks guys,
I am crossing my fingers for smooth seas and no delays! If I hear any reports of containers being washed up on shore then I'll be panicking!
Can't wait to get over there, although am bracing myself for the cold weather!

We're sure the container will be fine...as long as it's not the one on top, at the back!Weather has been holding up very nicely (check our new weather blog below) but they are promising the first notable snowfall for next Tuesday.
Kind regards,
Eamonn & Janet.

Good luck - can see you're from Brum way - i lived in Brum for a while (10 years ago!) and really enjoyed it. Is Mr Egg still around!?
