Working at the carwash....yeah

It's so cheap lah.
We use Tanjong Car Wash which is just off Jalan Tanjung Tokong... the same turnoff that Indies is on. And it's just up the road from us, so very handy.
So.... it's a full outside wash and lather, then dried down. This is all guys handwashing...not automated. That will set you back RM 5. Then if you want the inside vacuumed out and cleaned, that's another RM 5. Total RM 10. That's about 2 quid in real money. Not bad eh.
I can remember many moons ago in the UK... err probably about 11 years ago when we used to get Mr bb's very nice Audi valeted and it used to set us back about GBP 45. Quite a difference.

Yep, same price I pay here in KL. It's always amazed me how cheap it is.

In case anyone is interested, my "What a way to make a living" line was an attempt at a cheap pun based on BB's thread title. My attempt failed because my memory of 1970s ad 1980s songs is not as good as I thought. BB's "Working at the carwash....yeah" is from a Rose Royce song, whereas my "What a way to make a living" is, of course, from a Dolly Parton song. When I made the post I wrongly thought the two lines were from the same song

If you use Tanjung Car Wash regularly, they even have a book of coupons that come to be even cheaper. Forgot the exact numbers.
