Our Thai house has been on the market for ages but thankfully in a strong Asian currency so not a problem, just a minor irritation, and makes for a holiday home (albeit a bit of an expensive one :unsure:) but t'ak apa. But we're all a bit off topic here :( Troubadour, yup there's a fair few happy folks here, but some don't take to it. Just like anywhere really. I remember one Aussie guy on another forum some time ago giving up with Penang and going back to Australia. He reckoned there wasn't enough to do here..... but I guess it depends what you like doing, doesn't it. |
