"Pos Malaysia is temporarily suspending outbound international mail, parcel and Express Mail Service (EMS) services to all
international destinations (except Singapore) beginning 3 August 2020 until further notice." See attached. https://www.pos.com.my/

And how is it with inbound mail?
I have not received any mail from overseas for quite some time now.

Inbound is not affected, yet. There is a note concerning inbound at the bottom of the notice

That is still coming in. I get a letter from Europe (financial stuff) every one or two weeks.

Disruption to international mail is far from unusual - this is the advice from the US Postal Service, and it appears that many countries may be suffering primarily fom the loss of air services, but according to the information from USPS there are 13 countries that are refusing to accept international mail.
