Ok a bit of market research here if you guys don't mind helping me out a little please.

For ex pats and nationals in Malaysia, if you want to find something to do, a night/day out, a club or event in fact anything, how do you find out what is on?

How are these and other events etc advertised?

If you're on facebook put Penang (or wherever) into the search box and usually plenty of things come up. If you "like" the page, you can then get regular updates of what is on.

I also get info of things going on from other friends here in Penang and also the MM2H info site.

Its actually as part of my 'Move to Penang' and start a business mission. I am playing with an idea and what you have shown me has been great. I will be able to look at it more when I visit :-)
