Every year, they will organize an event called "Last Kopek" (IIRC). It is open to the public, but if someone from the general public would want to purchase stuffs (electrical stuffs included) they will require an army personal to 'sign' on the purchase card.
The 'signature' isn't free

Butterworth will be exciting from Wednesday onwards, I'm losing money by doing this job (compared with Pilbara anyway) so I'm gonna go home needing a holiday

I don't know what part of Georgetown you guys have been to but I got accosted by a tall, and it has to be said rather pretty woman tonight, I was on my way to the pub so I said hello but made certain she knew I was in a hurry. Her mate then joined in saying I'm a woman, I'm a woman. Dear God I have never walked to the pub so quickly. I must just have an innocent face.
To be honest, roll on Butterworth, this place has about done me in haha

Ah that was probably a monitor lizard...you get some quite big buggers.
Changing subject, I was at the Foodcourt last night and spotted Frog Porridge and thought of you Steve. Not quite grasshoppers I know, but thought you may be interested
I had a very nice Hokkien Char....can recommend that

haha, I saw the frog porridge the other day, decided to go for cuttlefish, big mistake it came with a side dish of millett
Last night in Georgetown, I'll miss it, but only because my wallet isn't bottomless, some great people here and to be honest, I have never had a better curry, the kurmi naan bread I had today was the best naan the world has or will ever see. Also, chicken 65 oh my word
Also, spotted this...and didn't say a word honest

Butterworth is just as bad, specially if the depraved bastards you work with know where to look. The place has nearly killed me, back in Oz now, next time it's work, gym, dinner, bed.....must be strong

That said, there aren't many foreigners (close to none actually
) in Butterworth for him to enjoy a pint with.A better place would be the Autocity.

Did it look like this? They get into swimming pools sometimes too. I think they're quite nice creatures.

Haha, yeah it's like helping my uncle jack off a horse kind of thing. Came back to Oz, went to do some first of type installations for the lovely Gina, just got back to Karratha, and hey ho they want me back in Penang for a week, looks like they did listen after all. I wish everybody could love their job as much as I do, the world would be a happier place.
