I resisted the parsnips.... Mr bakedbean gave me a look like thunder, but couldn't resist these. Mr bakedbean has already turned his nose up at them so....that's great.... ALL for me

Haven't bought ours yet but iirc from last year they cost slightly more than S$1 per sprout.
The sprouts cost nearly as much as the turkey.

Daylight robbery in Singapore
As you can see, this pack cost RM 5.78 so that's about SGD 2.18. How does that work then? Is Singapore Gov putting some tax on them or what? You must be importing them from Australia too I would guess.
To be honest, no idea what I'm going to do with them as we don't do Roasts these days....but it will be consumed with something, for sure.

We'd drive over and buy them in JB or Nusa but what with the jams even a tight git like me would rather buy them in Singapore.

One way to serve them, and the only way I will eat them, is to shred them and stir fry them.

For me you can't beat roast parsnips but why not try a curried parsnip soup with a little coriander - mar-vel-ous!
