Me again - the ringott

Hi - coming to malaysia tomorrow however it has been next to impossible to get ringotts in dubai with the exchange places saying most people who have ringotts keep them. Soooo i will be coming to malaysia with uae dirhams- where is best to change to ringotts? Airport/ money exchange or should I use my bank card?

. Yes you can change up dirhams at the airport or most banks or money exchange places. Shouldn't be too difficult. ATM cards should work I guess if you have the appropriate symbol on your card.

Should be OK at airport I would've thought. Take good care of your wallet though. KL is a big city and plenty of pickpockets just like most big cities.

The last place we would change any money is at an airport.

Why? We got good exchange rate at Changi airport when we went down. Ringgits not so easy to get outside the country so OP will need some on arrival. Just sayin.

Usually airports give the worst rate but will be best to get some currency when you arrive, so dont need to exchange too much, then can go into a bureau de change shop and get the rest of the currency.
