Hello all

My wife and I are planning for a family&friends get together event and trying to locate a venue to hold the event. We are considering both indoor halls and outdoor venues (gardens, club houses, etc.)

Our requirements are:
1. In or around Petaling Jaya (preferably)
2. Should accommodate 120-140 people
3. Should allow outside catering
4. Informal/relaxed setting
5. Reasonably priced

Any help or pointers will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I'm not in PJ so cannot help you but I would've thought checking out a few hotels might do the job?

Hi Raj. The PJ Hilton will meet your requirements 1 to 4. Perhaps not so much 5! There is also The Armada - across from Hilton. Not sure if they could accommodate outside nor what they will charge.

Thanks for the welcome

The hotels don't allow outside caterers serving food at their venues. I find the hotels are either pricey or food quality mediocre when compared with some of the outside caterers.
