I had been trying to figure out if this was a bank holiday in Malaysia, I think it was. Can anyone recommend a good site with info on holidays/closures?

I think this is one of those variable holidays. I had jotted it in my diary as the Thursday, though in fact my diary says Wednesday. A friend also said it was Thursday. Watching aljazeera news last night on TV, they mentioned that India was celebrating on Thursday so....dunno.

I found out it was wednesday when I visited my gym and found they were restricting hours on wednesday because it was deepavali.
