General advice for new arrival in Kuala Lumpur
Dear All,
After 30 odd visits to Malaysia in the past 9 years, We have taken on a 'holiday home' with a view to moving here on a more permanent basis.
I have been an 'expat' for the past 35 years (Middle East), so am not unfamiliar
with what this entails. We love Malaysia and really want to stay here. As such, I am actively seeking either a free-lance or full time position in KL.
Professionally; I am an English language teacher, with 21 years teaching experience at tertialry level, specialising in IFP (International Foundation Programme) with academic studies. I also specialise in ESP (English for Specific Purposes) which covers; banking/finance, hospitality, trade, retail and airport staff.
I would love to find a suitable position in KL, so if any one out there knows of a reputable college/university that I may approach, please let me know! Also, if any readers have any advice on the best contacts/organisations that I may also approach, please feel free to contact me.
Best regards,
Avril Mitchell
